Dear fellow trade unionists and friends,

We are writing to inform you of the rally taking place this Wednesday, September 23, at 1:15 PM in front of the Geneva Courthouse to support a SIT union secretary and protest against SLAPP suits (strategic lawsuits against public participation) that hinder the work of trade unionists and, by extension, workers’ right to defend themselves.

We invite everyone who is able to attend.

We have also attached the article from the latest issue of the *Journal du SIT* (No. 5, September) regarding the wrongful dismissal of two former strikers. This article highlights, once again, the lack of protection against anti-union dismissals and the inadequacy of current penalties. This underscores the need to continue the fight for genuine protection against anti-union dismissals.
