1. Preparation : Create four fields in the « A2ind_individu » FileMaker database—using the specific names and order required for automatic processing by the « MailSubscribers 4.0.3 » plugin on SPIP :

These fields are populated via conditional calculations with the values from :

After selecting the contacts, export these four fields to .xls so that the first row contains their labels — for example, naming the field « GDDS multi » for multilingual data.
2. Transformation using OpenOffice
Open the .xls file
select .csv format
save the file with a prefix added to the original filename to distinguish it from the previous version.
3. Processing in SPIP
a) First, create a mailing list (e.g., named « rubrique GDDS multi »)
add segments for each language used in the target section
for the GDDS group, these are : fr, de, en, it
b) Import the .csv file
preview to verify the layout of the 4 columns : email, nom, lang, statut

select the option to link this contact list to the « rubrique GDDS multi » mailing list ; b) next, create a newsletter using the « Newsletters 3.3.0 » plugin :
- name it « rubrique GDDS multi » and
- add the suffix for the language of use (e.g., « de »),
- set the recurrence,
- select the language,
- select the site section from which the newsletter will draw announcements of new articles published during the chosen recurrence period,
- select the recipient mailing list : in this case, choose the « de » segment from « rubrique GDDS multi »,
- save.
